Moonlights #110
The gardens get a refresh, Anubus, Opal is my new favorite app, new tunes and pictures of two goats.
Rebrand 🌱
Wolff Olins redesigned the brand for New York’s famous botanical gardens. Here are some visuals from the refresh. I really liked the subtle details and the nods to plant life 👌
Artist 🎨
Last year, I came across Joanna Karpowicz, a painter, artist, and illustrator. I love the work she did on the Anubus Series. Here are some of my favorites.
Try 📱
I’ve been trying out Opal for the last couple of weeks. Unlike simply ignoring Apple’s screen-time features, which is easy, Opal actually makes it much harder to mindlessly use your phone. I set it up to block almost all of my apps, minus some essentials, from 9am to 7pm. I’m just on the trial, but it already feels like the core features are exactly what I need. I’m still experimenting with the controls, but so far, I’ve noticed a big difference in how I use my phone.

From Me 🎒
Last night, I got a chance to see Drake and J-Cole as they kicked off the second leg of the It’s All a Blur Tour. The level of craft they both bring to the world is so inspiring. It’s pure enjoyment to see people at the height of their careers, masters of their craft, continually pushing the limits and creating new waves for others to surf. Watching them perform together was magic—they both brought all the positive vibes and Nashville really showed up 🙌
