Moonlights #4
Happy Friday! So far, I’ve enjoyed creating this every week. Bringing you five things that I love (make it 6 for this one) each week has brought a lot of joy to my week. I catch myself saying, that would be great for Moonlights! Thanks for all the comments. It makes it fun knowing that some of this stuff helps you out!
I think I’ll keep it going ⬇️

I stumbled upon this incredible artist last week. Mariko Kusumoto creates these ethereal sculptures/wearables. Here’s a bit of her process:
“To set the polyester fabric into the shapes she desires she heats the pieces to the right temperature, allowing the material to memorize the shape she wishes to create. These works are then formed into sculptural or wearable objects, 3D jewelry that can be worn around the neck.”
Read 📖
I just finished Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less by Greg McKeown. I read this 6 to 7 years ago and forgot about it. I rarely reread books (or rewatch movies). I’m not sure why, but I’m working on changing that. Recently I saw this on a few ‘best reads’ of 2021, so I wanted to reread it. It’s relatively short, plus an easy read, packed with a ton of advice on getting more done by doing less. Multiple times throughout the book, he’d mention a bad habit, and I’d nod my head…yep, that’s me. A solid read, full of practical tips and tricks to help you make better decisions, focused on quality, not quantity.
Watch 🍿
If you’ve watched any live TV this past month, you’ve probably seen this ad from Airbnb. I thought it was brilliant 👏 — I want that suit. The song is pretty great as well.
Try 🥘
I didn’t pack a lot of my kitchen stuff for our move, so I wanted to buy something affordable, but reliable while we were here. I’ve been using this Misen Nonstick Frying Pan for about a week now and I’m loving it. The heat is consistent, the pan is easy to maneuver (removable silicone handle), and the nonstick promise is for real. The pan is not like OMG BEST EVER, but like…
From Me 🎒
We’ve been in Miami for a little over a week now. The weather has been stellar, and I’m just now exploring what’s around us. This view is just a few minutes away from our rental.
Have a great weekend ✌️
