Moonlights #48
Color 🎨
Pantone recently announced the Color of the Year for 2023! Its name is "Viva Magenta," and its personality is full of perseverance and hope, which are two words that describe this past year very well. The color was inspired by the cochineal, a.2-inch-long bug with a bright reddish color that blends in with its surroundings. This beetle that has lasted for so long gives us hope for what’s to come. I’m digging this color!

One of my favorite products that I use daily (Craft) just released an AI assistant (first screenshot) that helps elevate your work. It can generate ideas, write an article based on a prompt, and even write you a poem. AI tools are exploding right now, Notion (also) added an AI assistant, and OpenAI released a new chat tool (second screenshot). I asked the Chat if I could introduce the AI to my Moonlights readers 😂
It seems like there's a lot of worry about these technologies, but I have faith that we'll figure out how to put them to good use.

Gowalla, one of my favorite apps of all time announced a while ago that they were re-launching. Yesterday they updated their website with hints of what’s to come! I could not be more excited about this. The team behind it is superb, and you can be confident that they will include all of the beautiful and unique experiences that will bring joy back to using an app. Not only that, but they're reintroducing additional real-world aspects and encouraging you to get out and discover your neighborhood. I can’t wait to use it again.

In Moonlights #2 I mentioned Forthave Spirits and their out of this world amaro. I just started looking at some of their other products, and this one is my new favorite. It's a coffee liqueur made from a single origin coffee bean grown by Don Sergio Ortez in Nicaragua and roasted in Brooklyn. It's powerful! But a little soda water and a few ice cubes will do the trick.
From Me 🎒
There goes another week.
Now that the winter weather has settled in, it's time to break out the cozy jackets, trade the cold brew → hot coffee, add some Christmas music to the rotation, and start my yearly rewatch of the Harry Potter series. I hope you all had a great week 🙌
