I found another great artist to listen to while designing. Miss Monique is very similar to Chris Luno, the artist I shared back in Moonlights #1. This particular mix was on repeat this past week. Also, she has green hair ✅

Dmitry Cherniak, one of the most well-known artists in the generative art space, released a new art drop this past week. I’ve admired his work from afar but didn’t get lucky enough to mint anything back when it was cheap. His work continues to rise in value, the minimum price for his Ringers collection is over $100k on OpenSea 🤯. 99.999% of people won’t ever own his artwork. But unlike traditional art, the NFT space provides new opportunities to grow your audience. Dmitry created a piece of art that was available to anyone, but only for 24 hours, typical big art drops require being on a white list, or knowing the artist. Everyone paying attention had a chance to purchase this image below for a little over $100. Over 20k people grabbed one during the 24 hour window.
Will it rise in value over time? Who knows. When he released his ringers collection in February of 2021, the cost was a few hundred dollars to mint. Now, the minimum price is $100k. If you purchased the Dead Ringer, you’re rewarded with a high res (70mb) file to print, and it’s only a matter of time before this is hanging on my wall 🖼

I listened to The Almanack of Naval Ravikant this past week, which is pretty short but packed full of helpful information. I have to remind myself how important it is to relisten/reread books that are really good. Not only does the info fade away, but I also end up finding value in something that may not have served me in the past. This is my third time I’ve listened to Naval’s book, and it just hit different this time. Hello soon to be 35 😎

I’ve enjoyed using these foam tips for my AirPods. I’m not sure that they are better than the original ones, but they are a slight upgrade specifically for working out. I’m still holding out for some kind of Airpod Sport edition 🤞
From Me 🎒
Last Saturday was one of the hardest days I’ve experienced in a long time. Alexa and I had to put Bella down 😥 Her health had been on the decline for the past few years, and although we were really grateful to have her for way longer than expected, it was still brutal when we had to say goodbye. Bella was my first pet. I had so much love for her, she was the most chill dog, and she only cared about a few things: treats, being next to us, and making sure the neighborhood dogs knew to stay away from her throne.
I’ve never lost a pet before, and I feel so much empathy towards anyone who has ever had to go through that…that was realllyyyy painful.
Here are some of my favorite pictures of her:
