Moonlights #51
Quote 💬
“Happiness is simply the absence of desire. When you observe a cue, but do not desire to change your state, you are content with the current situation. Happiness is not about the achievement of pleasure (which is joy or satisfaction), but about the lack of desire. It arrives when you have no urge to feel differently. Happiness is the state you enter when you no longer want to change your state.”

This was yet another example of AI that opened my eyes to the possibilities and power of some of these tools. Later in the thread below, Jamie clarifies that AI was not used for the entire process but rather was the driving force behind it. This took about a week or so to throw together. The rate of content creation is about to 100x.

Here are a few end-of-year brand design reviews that I enjoyed. This one, this one, and this one
Golf ⛳️
In South Korea, screen golf is more popular than real golf. The video below shows off a few of the popular concepts that are taking off, and I can only imagine this wave will hit the US soon. I often find myself wishing for more opportunities to hit the links, but unfortunately, squeezing in a quick round of golf isn't always possible. But with some of the newer technology, you can now play golf without worrying about the weather, the slow foursome in front of you, how much it will cost, or how fast you can finish nine holes. As you can see in the video below, they're not just making golf more convenient; they're also providing food, coffee, entertainment, and other amenities as part of the overall experience.
From Me 🎒
I made it home for the holidays! Next week, Moonlights will have its 52nd post, marking the end of a full year of weekly posts. I haven't decided what I'll do next year, but I think I want to keep Moonlights going. I could lower the volume, switch to a different format, or keep things the same.
If you’ve been following along this year, I’d love to know what you think. Keep it going? Less posts? New format?
Also, here’s another art piece that I worked on this past week.
Happy Holidays!
